Dr. Jarod Mell

Family Practice

Dr. Mell moved with his family from Minnesota to Nanaimo in 2024. They are settling in very well and only wished they would have moved earlier! Prior to the move, Dr. Mell was faculty at the University of Minnesota Family Medicine Residency as well as a community family practitioner. He practices near full scope family medicine (without OB) and is full time at Caledonian Clinic. He is eagerly engaged in recruiting more doctors from the States to help with the ongoing primary care shortage.

 Outside of the clinic, he is always tinkering on something (3D printing, electronics/robotics, woodworking, small engine repair) and has been exploring all Vancouver Island has to offer with his wife, daughter and son.
