She is passionate about cervical cancer screening, discussing contraception, inserting IUDs and implants, sexual health, and vulvar health. When she is not in the clinic, she assists OBGYNs in the operating room, delivers babies at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, and leads Prenatal Classes. Dr. Layton aims to provide timely and accessible care to individuals who have Women’s Health concerns. Her goal is to create a positive and non-judgemental environment in which individuals feel safe asking questions and learning about their health and wellbeing. We do not offer any walk-in appointments. Please call to book well in advance whenever possible. As we realize illnesses cannot be scheduled, we will try to connect our patients with a doctor in an emergency situation. Some problems may require earlier attention than others.
